Who we are: The IPR Training Coordination Group is comprised of U.S. government agencies and industry associations that provide IPR-related informational programs, training, and technical assistance to foreign officials and policy makers. Many programs are offered to help developing countries comply with their obligations under the World Trade Organization (WTO) Agreement on Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property, commonly known as "TRIPs." These programs also help the United States meet its TRIPs obligation to provide technical assistance to developing and least developed members of the WTO. Anyone with access to the World Wide Web may view the calendar of programs. Members of the Training Coordination Group offer many, but not all, programs on the calendar. Non-member programs may also be included in order to facilitate program planning by members.
